Scholarship
Dear South Houston Chamber of Commerce Members:
I am writing as chairman of the South Houston Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Committee to announce to you that we are currently accepting scholarship applications from graduating seniors in Spring 2008. The chamber wishes to recognize and assist seniors with plans to attend an accredited college, university or vocational training school within a year of graduation. The chamber will be awarding two $1000.00 scholarships this year. Here is a brief outline of some of the requirements:
Eligible Applicants:
1)Can be either a current resident of the City of South Houston, Texas and attend a Pasadena ISD high school; or
Can be either a current resident of the City of South Houston, Texas and attend a Pasadena ISD high school; or 2)Can be a son, stepson, daughter, stepdaughter or grandchild of an employee of a member company or individual member of South Houston Chamber of Commerce and not be a resident of the City of South Houston and/or not attend a Pasadena ISD school; and
Can be a son, stepson, daughter, stepdaughter or grandchild of an employee of a member company or individual member of South Houston Chamber of Commerce and not be a resident of the City of South Houston and/or not attend a Pasadena ISD school; and 3)Must complete the application form and all the questions; and
Must complete the application form and all the questions; and4)Attach a complete high school transcript and ACT or SAT scores if applicable; and

Memorial Fund
South Houston Chamber of Commerce Memorial Fund accepts donations for all causes to be placed in the Scholarship Fund.
When donations are made acknowledgement cards are sent to involved parties.
